Dr Gillian Ostrowski qualified from Edinburgh Medical School in 1999 (MBChB).  She trained in hospitals in Edinburgh and London including University College London Hospital, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. In 2004 she completed her training in General Practice and in 2007 became GP Principle Partner in a large inner city London surgery serving over 14,000 patients. She has extensive experience of working in both private healthcare and the NHS. 

She has a passion for true family medicine, caring for both the individual and the family unit. Managing physical and mental ill health as well as encouraging proactive screening and health prevention. 

Dr Ostrowski has attained postgraduate qualifications in:

General Practice -  Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) 2004

Paediatrics - Diploma in Child Health (DCH) 2003

Gynaecology - Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) 2002

Reproductive and Sexual Health Care - Diploma in Family Planning (DFFP) 2002, holding the LoC for Insertion of Intra-uterine devices since 2007

Occupational Health - Diploma in Occupational Health (DOccMed) 2011

She is also Fellow of the Royal Medical Society of Edinburgh, FRMS.

In 2007, Dr Gillian Ostrowski was one of the founding team members of the Battersea GP Federation and was an Executive Director until 2011. She also served as an elected member on Wandsworth's London Medical Committee for 5 years between 2009 and 2013.

In 2011, she became Associate Medical Director for Wandsworth Primary Care Trust (PCT).

In 2013, she was made Associate Medical Director for NHS England, South London Area Team. 

After three pregnancies complicated by Hyperemesis Gravidarum and with a passion to improve the healthcare around this illness, she became a trustee of the charity, Pregnancy Sickness Society in 2016.

Dr Ostrowski has been a GP Appraiser since 2013.

In January 2021 she launched a private testing company which provided direct to consumer testing kits as well as offering large-scale testing to employers with risk stratification and an occupational health physician overview.

Dr Ostrowski is married, has three young children and lives in Central London.
